Karen Yelsey is a 44 year resident of Newport Beach where she and her husband, Arthur, raised their 3 children. Karen graduated with a BA in Political Science from Tulane University and an MBA from the Wharton Business School. She spent her early career at major consumer products companies including Hunt Wesson Foods and Neutrogena Corporation. Karen left her corporate marketing career to focus on her children and became involved in public school related and extracurricular activities. After years of volunteerism at many levels in local schools, she ran for Newport-Mesa School Board Trustee in 2006. Since then, Karen has served over 15 years on the school board, including 4 times as President. She has been committed over this period to helping make NMUSD a desirable, safe and high achieving district for over 18,000 students and 3,500 employees. Karen has worked closely with many Newport Beach School Resource Officers and is committed to the support of all members of the NBPD.

Dan has been a Newport Beach resident since 1970. He is a graduate of Corona del Mar HS, along with his 8 siblings and later his son and daughter. He attended Loyola Marymount University, majoring in English and History, and was a Four-Year Oarsman on the LMU Crew Team. Upon graduation from Gonzaga University School of Law 1989, he joined the Orange County District Attorney's Office. During his 33 years as a Deputy DA, Dan worked in several units including Sexual Assault, Special Investigations, Branch Court Management, and the Orange County Auto Theft Task Force. He is currently assigned to the Harbor Justice Center in Newport Beach, where he continues a long career of working closely with NBPD Detectives and Officers, an association that led to a position on the NB Police Foundation Board in 2019. He also serves as a Board member of the Orange County Youth Sports Foundation. Dan currently lives on Balboa Island with his wife Renee.

Ruth has lived in Newport Beach for 46 years and has been married to her husband, Don for 36 years. They have two grown daughters. Ruth graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in Communications, and spent the next 20 years in the tech industry in sales for Xerox, DEC, Compaq, and Hewlett-Packard before retiring to become a full-time parent and volunteer. Her leadership and volunteer work has included serving on the Board of Directors at Mariners Christian School, and the PTA Board for Corona Del Mar High School. She also served on the Newport-Mesa Unified School District Human Relations Task Force. As a trusted advisor, Ruth enjoys serving her community by advocating for young people, assisting civic and educational leaders achieve their full potential, and caring for her neighborhood. She is a huge fan of the Newport Beach Police Department and is committed to supporting the officers through the Newport Beach Police Foundation.

Brandon is the Founder and CEO of AURA Accounting Solutions, a Newport Beach-based fractional controller and CFO services firm. He is a member and forum moderator of the Entrepreneurs' Organization, Orange County Chapter, and is a graduate of the Distinguished Citizens Program with the Newport Beach Foundation. When Brandon was in high school, his family moved from AZ to Orange County and he never looked back. Brandon earned his B.S. in Business Administration-Finance from Cal-State Fullerton. During a college internship at a local accounting firm, Brandon developed his business and entrepreneurial skills, ultimately becoming a director before setting out on his own in 2017. Since moving to Newport Beach in 2020, Brandon has dedicated himself to contributing to the community that has given him so much. Brandon lives in Back Bay Newport with his high school sweetheart, Christine, and their three young rambunctious boys. You may find Brandon attending a local Cars and Coffee event on the weekends or enjoying a beautiful day poolside at the Balboa Bay Club. He feels honored and privileged to serve as the Treasurer of the Newport Beach Police Foundation, and has the utmost respect for the Newport Beach police, and their dedication to protecting our great city.

Kate Malouf has lived in Newport Beach for 17 years. Originally from Eugene, Oregon, she studied Political Science at the University of Oregon. After college, she moved to San Francisco and met and married her husband, Login, in 2003. They have three children: their daughters attended the University of Wisconsin, while their son attends Auburn University. She has actively contributed to the community by raising three children who attended NMUSD schools and serving in leadership roles such as Vice President of the Newport Harbor Educational Foundation, Vice President of the Nets PTA, and Executive Board Member of the Newport Harbor Athletic Foundation. She has also chaired and cochaired events like the NHAF annual golf tournament. Since 2019, Kate has served as a Commissioner for Newport Beach, advising the City Council through the Parks, Beaches, & Recreation Commission to enhance local programs. She previously worked as a Foundation Director at REPT Sports Agency, creating educational opportunities for disadvantaged youth. She was a National Sales Executive at CORT, managing high-profile clients like Apple, Disney, and ESPN. In 2019, Kate received the Future Leader Anchor Award from the Newport Beach Foundation. She is a graduate of the Newport Beach Citizens Police Academy and has strong ties with local police and fire departments. Passionate about combating human trafficking, she has chaired the Teen Project Orange County Committee and helped establish scholarships for high school seniors. In her free time, Kate enjoys traveling, sports, reading, running, and volunteering to impact her community positively.

Jock has been a resident of Newport Beach since 1994. He and his wife Giselle have two children, who attended Our Lady Queen of Angels School, Harbor Day School, and Corona Del Mar High School. They are now in college. Jock is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer with Hyundai Mobis. He has served on several community based boards including Knights of Columbus, CDM High School Sailing Team, and a Boy Scout Volunteer Parent leader with local Troop 90. In addition to serving the local Newport Beach community, Jock enjoys rowing and boating in Newport Harbor. Jock is excited and proud to be able to support the Newport Beach Police Department as a board member of the Newport Beach Police Foundation.

Originally from Pasadena, Jen McDonald made Newport Beach her permanent home back in 1997. She and her husband Mike, currently reside in Eastside Costa Mesa where they are raising their three children, with their youngest attending St. Joachim Catholic School and their two older ones at Newport Harbor High School. Jen began her post college career working for Imax film company MacGillivray Freeman Films in Laguna Beach in Marketing. She then went on to get her teaching credential at UCI, teaching for 6 years in the Ocean View School District in 4th and 5th grades. Once she had her first child, Jen stayed home to raise her children and is so incredibly grateful for that time, which flew by! As her kids have gotten older, Jen has found more time to give back to the community she so proudly serves in her real estate career. She currently hangs her residential real estate license at Compass on Bayside Drive here in Newport Beach. When not working, Jen is serving on multiple boards; as Parliamentarian for the National League of Young Men, where her son Ollie is a member; board vice president of the Boys Tennis Team at Newport Harbor High School and now a proud member of the NBPF board. After completing the Distinguished Citizen Program in 2023, Jen knew she wanted to give back but wasn't sure where to take her efforts. Her father, Bob, was an integral part of her life and was always a huge support to the Pasadena Police Department. After his passing in 2023, Jen knew that giving back in this way would be something not only she would be honored to be a part of but also something her father would have thoroughly enjoyed. She feels she is carrying on his legacy and respect for our police, and is grateful for the opportunity to give back to these incredible men and women in uniform.

Francisco is the CEO and co-founder of 5.11 Tactical. He is an active business leader in the Orange County business community. In 2016 he received the Innovator of The Year Award by the OC Business Journal. He is also a member of the YPO California Coast Chapter in Newport Beach. Francisco graduated with honors from the Thunderbird School of Global Management where he received his executive MBA. He also attended Jefferson University where he graduated cum laude and received his BS in Fashion Apparel Management. His passion for business and service has led him to be involve in various business ventures and he proudly serves on the board of several nonprofit Orange County based organizations. Francisco is honored to serve the officers of the Newport Beach Police Department who so valiantly protect and serve our local community through the Newport Beach Police Foundation.

Adept in organizational management and strategic communication, Kally Rapsey is a savvy political finance consultant. Kally's business serves its clients in various capacities including management of regional finance, as well as planning and program coordination. Kally earned both a B.A. in Communication and a M.A. in Communication Management from the University of Southern California, Annenberg School for Communication. It was at USC that Kally won a NCAA Championship Title in Women's Water Polo and was honored with the Tom Hansen award, which recognizes two student athletes from each institution in the PAC-12 based on the greatest combination of performance in sport and achievement in scholarship. Kally was born and raised in Newport Beach, where she currently resides with her husband and two daughters. She is proud to give back to her community by serving on both the Newport Beach Police Foundation and the Newport Beach Foundation Boards. Additionally, she is a 2020 graduate from the notable Newport Beach Foundation's Distinguished Citizens Program. Kally has the greatest respect for the Newport Beach police and the role they play in the community. As such, she is very proud to support the officers through the Newport Beach Police Foundation.

Stephanie Simpson has been a resident of Newport Beach for 35 years. She and her husband, Kerry, have been married for 32 years. They have one son, Evan, who recently graduated with his undergrad degree from Fordham University. Stephanie brings over 25 years of experience in Business Development & Marketing to the Newport Beach Police Foundation Board. She has her own part time marketing business and works with a variety of companies to enhance their business operations via marketing, development and process analysis since 2005. Most recently Stephanie has worked with three local Catholic Schools as their first Directors of Advancement & Marketing. She designed and developed the Admissions, Marketing, and Advancement protocol for the schools. Prior to this time Stephanie has been involved with Catholic School & Parish fundraising campaigns for Our Lady Queen of Angels in Newport Beach since 2005. Stephanie obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree at Cal Poly, Humboldt. She attended Pepperdine University's graduate school, and then completed her M.B.A. with a focus on Business Development and Marketing Management from the University of Redlands. Additional certificates include 2 certificates in School Development from the University of Dayton-IPSD, as well as an associates in Risk Management. Stephanie values community, the Newport Beach Police Department, and is proud to serve as a member of the Newport Beach Police Department Foundation.

Lorie is originally from Arizona and graduated from ASU with a degree in Marketing. She has lived in OC since 2005, and in Newport Beach for the last 15 years. Lorie has always been very involved in family and community events. Her two children attended OLQA and CdMMS, and Lorie has served on the OLQA and CdM PTA Boards for several years. She volunteers for multiple charities, including Project Giving Light and Let's Be Kind, and also serves on the CdM Home Tour Committee. Lorie owns Custom Yard Greetings, a yard sign celebration company, and OC Media and Events, where she coordinates social media and events, and promotes charities, companies, bands and events for a wide range of clients. As a new Director, Lorie has applied her variety of experience to enhance the publicity, community engagement and online presence of the NB Police Foundation. She is an integral part of the Foundation's event planning, and Chairs the annual NBPF Golf Classic.

Matt is a Corporate Managing Director with Savills, the largest tenant representation firm in the world, with over 40 years of experience representing occupiers in commercial and industrial real estate transactions. Matt enjoys community volunteering and has served on the City of Newport Beach Environmental Quality Affairs Committee, is past District Commissioner of the Boy Scouts, has served as a Scout leader, was Parent Advisor for the Newport Harbor High School Sailing Team for 4 years, and has held numerous volunteer positions at Newport Harbor Yacht Club. He believes strongly in the importance of a community supported police force and is pleased to be able to help support our officers through this Foundation.
