2. About NBPF

The Newport Beach Police Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization (EIN: 46-3322480) established to support the Newport Beach Police Department and the community it serves. The Site provides information about NBPF's mission, events, sponsorship opportunities, and online donation capabilities.

3. Donations and Sponsorships

Tax-Deductible Contributions: Donations and sponsorships made through the Site are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. NBPF will provide acknowledgment of your contribution for tax purposes. Consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your specific contribution.

Payment Processing: All financial transactions are processed securely through Stripe, Inc., a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor. By making a donation or purchasing a sponsorship, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

Refund Policy: Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe an error was made in processing your donation, please contact us within 30 days at info@newportbeachpolicefoundation.org. NBPF will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Sponsorship Benefits: Sponsorship tiers and associated benefits are described on the relevant event or sponsorship pages. NBPF reserves the right to modify sponsorship packages and benefits. Sponsors will be notified of any material changes to their sponsorship benefits.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, graphics, and design elements, is the property of the Newport Beach Police Foundation or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without prior written permission from NBPF.

The NBPF name, logo, and associated branding are trademarks of the Newport Beach Police Foundation. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

5. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of, the Site by any third party. Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to:

• Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information through forms or donation pages
