On May 8, 2026, the Newport Beach community gathered at the Pendry Newport Beach for the 53rd Annual Police Appreciation Luncheon. Hosted by the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Commodores Club, and the Newport Beach Police Foundation, the sold-out event honored the men and women of the Newport Beach Police Department for their outstanding service over the past year.
Dignitaries, elected officials, city staff, and community and business leaders filled the ballroom as Chamber President & CEO Steve Rosansky opened the program. NBPD Chaplain Bradley Green delivered the invocation, and the Honor Guard posted the colors. NBPF Chair Karen Yelsey led the Pledge of Allegiance and Communications Supervisor Jessica Roberts performed the National Anthem. Following lunch, Police Chief Dave Miner presided over the awards ceremony.

The Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce and Newport Beach Police Foundation will host the 53rd luncheon honoring the Newport Beach Police Department and its Police Volunteers to recognize outstanding service during the past year. The event will celebrate officers and volunteers who will be presented with medals and awards for their exemplary service and dedication to the community.
